Services

Thank you for your interest in my postpartum doula services and support.

I tailor my support to fit each family and their needs, which can (and does) change from day to day.  This includes breastfeeding and/or bottle feeding support, practical help within your home including, (organizing the nursery, preparing light meals, running errands, laundry etc.), emotional support and guidance, gentle newborn care, creating a calm, restful environment as well as providing informational support.  I assist ‘newborn families’ by building confidence and fostering intuitive parenting.  My support is nonjudgmental; therefore I will support the parenting method you decide feels right for your family.  However, I do encourage an open mind if things aren’t working out the way you had hoped or planned and if no one is getting any sleep! ;)  Yes, I am a stickler about getting rest when the baby(s) are sleeping.  You need to take care of yourselves first and foremost, so you have the energy to care for your little ones.  I have a list of “tips” that I put up on the refrigerator for you and family members to see everyday.  I also screen for postpartum mood disorders beyond the baby blues and will make appropriate recommendations if needed.
